Iced Cherry Apple Tea
There’s nothin’ wrong with an ice-cold pop every once in a while, but this Iced Cherry Apple Tea is a great way to stay hydrated without reaching for soda or super sugary drinks. The sweet cherry flavor, natural citrus notes, and bold tea blend mellow it out beautifully!

Why You’ll Love This Iced Cherry Apple Tea
If you’re looking for a naturally sweet, antioxidant-packed drink that’s surprisingly good for you, boy, do I have the tea for you! This mix is bold, tart, and fruity with a clean finish, thanks to black cherry berry tea and Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Add your favorite sweetener, some ice, and you’ve got the perfect summer sipper. Or spring. Or Tuesday afternoon. Honestly, it’s a great iced tea any time of year—it’s part herbal tea and part tangy refresher.
This stuff has helped me kick my cravings for junk food and my one true weakness, Dirty Dr. Pepper. Just make sure you’re using the good stuff with the “mother” at the bottom (I swear by Bragg’s), and you’re sipping on a probiotic boost, too. Bottom line is, you’ll feel good drinking it, and it’s downright delicious.
Let me show you how to make it!

Let’s Talk Ingredients
- Black Cherry Berry tea bags
- Bragg’s apple cider vinegar
- Sweetener
Tip: If you’re using a dry sweetener like Truvia or sugar, add it while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully. The beauty of this recipe is that you can make it as sweet or tart as you like. I use 3 packets of Truvia, but cane sugar, honey, or even Splenda all work.

How to Make Iced Cherry Apple Tea
1. Steep the Tea
In a quart-sized mason jar or pitcher, steep 2 Black Cherry Berry tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a good 15 minutes—you want all that cherry flavor to come through.

2. Add the Good Stuff
Remove the tea bags and stir in the 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and sweetener of choice while the tea is still warm. Give it a good stir so everything dissolves nicely.

3. Fill with Ice and Water
Top off your jar with ice and cold water until it reaches the top. Give it another stir, and you’re ready to sip!

Storage
This apple cider vinegar tea recipe makes just 1 glass, so there’s no need to store leftovers. Simply double the recipe if making it for more than one person at a time!
Can I use a different tea blend?
Absolutely! While this recipe is made for a fruity herbal base, feel free to experiment with green tea, white tea, or a more floral eternity blend if that’s your vibe. Just keep in mind that caffeinated teas like black tea will change your drink’s energy levels.
What if I don’t like apple cider vinegar?
Try using just 1 tablespoon to start, or swap it for a splash of lemon juice. The acidity gives this iced tea its bright, zippy flavor, but it doesn’t need to be overpowering.
Can I serve it hot?
You can! Just steep the tea, mix in your sweetener and vinegar, and skip the ice. It makes a comforting, cozy hot tea with a slightly tangy twist. Alternatively, you can check out this Hot Spiced Apple Cider recipe!
How long does it last in the fridge?
If you do decide to make a larger batch, this iced tea keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You might even find the flavor gets stronger and fruitier as it sits.

I tried this today with Peach and its really nice and refreshing.
I can see this being my go to morning tea. (cheaper than McD and better for me too).
I am so glad you liked it Dawn!!!
I just tried this a couple of weeks ago and now am totally addicted. Over the Memorial Day weekend several relatives tried it, liked it, but said they missed the fizz. My husband was one of these. So yesterday I bought some club soda and I left a little room in the glass with the tea and ice and added some soda. Now he loves it. I still like mine without the fizz. I can’t keep it made up fast enough. BTW, I put a large cup under my Keurig and add the hot water that way. You can slide out the base a little to make sure the water goes in the cup correctly.
My favorite flavor tea to use for this so far is red zinger.
🙂
This is addicting! I’ve made it with several different flavored teas and all are good. I drink this all day and love it. Thank you, Christy, for sharing this recipe!!
I am so glad to hear that you like it Melise!!!
Made two batches this morning. One Black Cherry and another with Wild Berry Zinger (bought a sampler box). Wild Berry Zinger was my favorite of the 2. Made it with stevia but will try honey next time. The stevia didn’t “sweeten” it up enough. Looking forward to try the other teas.
Ohhh, I bet the Wild Berry Zinger was good!!! I need to try it!!
Thanks so much for ths recipe! I’m already addicted. My mom-in-love gave me a bottle of Bragg’s and said to take a shot glass every morning. Well, Gyaaahh! Awful stuff if you take it straight! I made your VinTea with raspberry-pomegranite tea (couldn’t find the cherry either), and it’s delish! I’ve tried several different sweeteners, and I like honey the best. It just goes so well with tea. I can now enjoy the benefits my mom-in-love “Braggs” about without doing the sour pucker dance all over my kitchen. Thanks, Christy!
I got my Bragg’s apple cider vinegar at Dillon’s (Kroger) in the health food area, not the regular vinegar aisle. I also was able to find the exact tea bags at that same store. I do not have any mason jars so I used a look-alike, plastic, insulated, Aladdin mason jar cup I had. It is only a 16oz size so I used two teabags, two packs of truvia and three teaspoons of acv. Turned out delicious 🙂 Thank you. I was taking the ACV not mixed with anything each morning and though I took it, it was horrible to me and I wanted a recipe to put it in so this could not have come at a better time.
