Iced Cherry Apple Tea
There’s nothin’ wrong with an ice-cold pop every once in a while, but this Iced Cherry Apple Tea is a great way to stay hydrated without reaching for soda or super sugary drinks. The sweet cherry flavor, natural citrus notes, and bold tea blend mellow it out beautifully!

Why You’ll Love This Iced Cherry Apple Tea
If you’re looking for a naturally sweet, antioxidant-packed drink that’s surprisingly good for you, boy, do I have the tea for you! This mix is bold, tart, and fruity with a clean finish, thanks to black cherry berry tea and Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Add your favorite sweetener, some ice, and you’ve got the perfect summer sipper. Or spring. Or Tuesday afternoon. Honestly, it’s a great iced tea any time of year—it’s part herbal tea and part tangy refresher.
This stuff has helped me kick my cravings for junk food and my one true weakness, Dirty Dr. Pepper. Just make sure you’re using the good stuff with the “mother” at the bottom (I swear by Bragg’s), and you’re sipping on a probiotic boost, too. Bottom line is, you’ll feel good drinking it, and it’s downright delicious.
Let me show you how to make it!

Let’s Talk Ingredients
- Black Cherry Berry tea bags
- Bragg’s apple cider vinegar
- Sweetener
Tip: If you’re using a dry sweetener like Truvia or sugar, add it while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully. The beauty of this recipe is that you can make it as sweet or tart as you like. I use 3 packets of Truvia, but cane sugar, honey, or even Splenda all work.

How to Make Iced Cherry Apple Tea
1. Steep the Tea
In a quart-sized mason jar or pitcher, steep 2 Black Cherry Berry tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a good 15 minutes—you want all that cherry flavor to come through.

2. Add the Good Stuff
Remove the tea bags and stir in the 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and sweetener of choice while the tea is still warm. Give it a good stir so everything dissolves nicely.

3. Fill with Ice and Water
Top off your jar with ice and cold water until it reaches the top. Give it another stir, and you’re ready to sip!

Storage
This apple cider vinegar tea recipe makes just 1 glass, so there’s no need to store leftovers. Simply double the recipe if making it for more than one person at a time!
Can I use a different tea blend?
Absolutely! While this recipe is made for a fruity herbal base, feel free to experiment with green tea, white tea, or a more floral eternity blend if that’s your vibe. Just keep in mind that caffeinated teas like black tea will change your drink’s energy levels.
What if I don’t like apple cider vinegar?
Try using just 1 tablespoon to start, or swap it for a splash of lemon juice. The acidity gives this iced tea its bright, zippy flavor, but it doesn’t need to be overpowering.
Can I serve it hot?
You can! Just steep the tea, mix in your sweetener and vinegar, and skip the ice. It makes a comforting, cozy hot tea with a slightly tangy twist. Alternatively, you can check out this Hot Spiced Apple Cider recipe!
How long does it last in the fridge?
If you do decide to make a larger batch, this iced tea keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You might even find the flavor gets stronger and fruitier as it sits.

Christy,
I really want to try the Vintea cooler recipe, but I cannot find the Celestial brand Black Cherry Berry tea (except for the Sampler box which only has 3 bags of the cherry in it) . The other flavors in the sampler box do not appeal to me, and I want to get the box of 20 bags of just Black Cherry Berry like you have shown in your recipe instructions. I have been to the Athens Publix, Hometown, and WalMart. Also, just went to the big Kroger on Hwy 72 in Madison which has every flavor EXCEPT the Black Cherry Berry. Can you please tell me specifically where you bought the box of just that one flavor? Really enjoy your daily emails with great recipes. Also, have enjoyed your recipe books which I have and have bought as gifts. Thanks! Patsy
I just love, love, love your cookbooks, recipes and stories! Your wonderful stories are so enjoyable and this Cherry VinTea Cooler was one recipe that I decided, after reading it, that I had to try it right then and there!!! So on my way home after work that night, I stopped at the store and bought the ingredients. It’s my new favorite drink and I have been fixing a jar in the morning to take to work and then one when I get home. It is delicious! Thank you so much for your awesome recipes and wonderful stories – they always bring a smile to my face and make me think of times when I was growing up.
Just tried it with the raspberry hibiscus tea. Very good! For those who don’t know – hibiscus tea has been shown to help reduce blood pressure. I can say that it really works!
That is great to know Pamela, thank you for sharing that tidbit of information!!
I am soooo happy that your dog is back! I cannot imagine losing my dog/baby. And I think you’re right, God had a plan!
I could not wait to try this recipe. It was absolutely delicious! My husband loved it as well. Your recipes are wonderful, but this is my favorite by far. Thanks for our new favorite “porch swing beverage”.
Thank you so much Karen!!! I am so glad you both liked it!
Yay! Sweetie’s Back! God is good!
Can’t wait to try the Cherry VinTea. I might try adding club soda or seltzer water to give it a little fizz!
God is very good!! Thank you for all your prayers Susan!! I hope you enjoy the VinTea!!
Ahh, the benefits of vinegar! Whether it’s acv a healthy superfood (helps hair and fingernail growth, weightloss, clear skin, arthritis and joint pain, etc…) or distilled white vinegar ( works great as a fabric softener, just add a 1/4 cup to the wash machine, or use 1 part h2o to 1 part vinegar to clean the rust off cast iron pans, or wash windows and mirrors) there are just soo many great uses. Thank you Christy for your recipe. I’ve always just taken 2tbsp straight from the bottle, but with your flavorful drink maybe now i will be able to get the rest of my family to enjoy the benefits
There are so many great benefits!! I hope you are successful in your campaign to get your family to join in!!
