My go to ingredients are ground beef, cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup. You can make anything with those.

  3. My go to quick-fix is omelets. There are so many different ingredients that you can throw in and make everyone’s favorite and sometimes it’s a good way to just clean out the fridge of all those dab-of-this-and-that! ~grins~ I truly feel as if I’m going to a good friend’s home each time I visit Southern Plate with you and your family, Christy. I love seeing what Karo & Brady are doing and Teacup is absolutely precious. Everything you share with all of us truly does feel as if we are all one big-happy-southern-plate-family. Thank you for all the hard work you are going through to keep your website going and still being the loving, sweet friend to all. What you are doing to get things rolling for all of Alabama shows just what a wonderful caring person that you are. That love & caring shows in all that you do and I am so proud to be one of your many, many, ‘extended’ southern plate family members. No other recipe site comes close to the quality of yours’ Christy! God Bless, and I hope all your dreams come true. Two # 1 hits~~Southern Plate & Southern Living~~What a team this will be together. You go girl! ~~Hugs~~

  4. My quick fix meals are recipes that use either cooked Ground Beef or Shredded Chicken that I have in the freezer. Cheese, Bisquik and Campbell’s Cream Soups are staples in my home.
