  1. I have not done the crock pot version of the chicken and wild rice, but I have done it in the oven, subbing cooked (rotiserrie or canned) chicken, adding a can of green beans and slivered almonds along with the creamed soup, rice and onion. So yummy and comforting!

  4. I keep a couple of bags of frozen chopped onion on hand at all times to save time on the recipes that call for chopped onion. I think it is always just white onion but it still doesn’t make enough difference to me versus the time and crying I save!
